I have made baked pasta ziti before, but I too opt for penne over ziti…not because I couldn’t find it… lol! I could! It does exist, but it doesn’t have the ridges the penne has; therefore, it doesn’t hold sauce as well as penne resulting in a less flavor in every bite!
I am very excited to try out this recipe. I looked to find the sausage seasoning but the website is no longer coming up. I’ll have to research a little bit more!
